Tia obtained her health and life insurance license in 2021 while earning her double Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Economics from Grand Valley State University. As a licensed insurance agent in the State of Michigan, Florida, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Alabama; Tia advises clients needing individual, short-term, Medicare, life, and long term care insurance. She also provides ongoing service to these clients, including claims support, network navigation and annual renewal assistance.

While in college, Tia was a member of the American Marketing Association and The Frederick Meijer Honors College. She also participated in a study abroad program at Kingston University in London, England. While obtaining her degree at Grand Valley, Tia’s Health Economics coursework led her to choose a career in the health insurance field. Since she graduated college, she has assisted hundreds of individuals with their insurance and is passionate about her career of helping people navigate the world of insurance.

After work hours, Tia likes to listen to music and play her guitar. In the summer months, she hits links playing in a golf league, while in the winter she participates in Euchre tournaments. Through her study abroad experience, Tia discovered her passion for traveling and experiencing new cultures. Many places on the bucket list will be crossed off in the coming years.
